Hi, I also have tried several times to upgrade from Win 7 home basic.

Any hint what to do? At 25% it stops when 80% of the files are copied.

By the way, 0x8007007f means either there is dll files missing, or the server not responding;

General causes of "STOP 0x0000007F" errors

Suggestion here is to do the upgrade under clean boot.
